Filtered Fields in JIRA Plans Continues to Show those Fields (although they are greyed)

Edited

I am currently in the plans feature for a project and I'm trying to see only the items which are in progress which is what I've set my filter to, however, the view still shows Epics with other status (they are simply greyed out). Is there a way to hide these completely so that I can get a non-cluttered view?

Hi @Sathiya Kanagaraj - Unfortunately no and this is a good thing.  The parent issues are grayed out because they have children that meet the filter criteria.

The reason this is a good thing is that it is likely pointing to bad data/behaviors.  For example, you have an Epic with a status of Open or Closed but it has child issue(s) with a status of In Progress.  The plan is warning you that the team has either pulled in child issues early or the Epic has not been set to In Progress to match that the work has begun.
