Epics are not showing up in the Roadmap as having Parents.

Edited

I have a user that is using the Advanced Roadmaps in Jira, and they have a lot of Epics that are not showing up in their Roadmap as having Parents.

Just wondering if someone knows how to get Roadmaps to show this.

Also, I may not be able to give too much information as the data that is being worked on is sensitive.

I had that same problem until I created a filter with the parent issues in it and then included that filter as one of the Issue sources.

I have checked and the user has access to the Roadmap to modify it.

Can you advise what I should use as the filters please?

@Ashley Roberts

Hi Ashley

Suggest you to check the following things

  1.  hierarchy setting
  2. Check whether epic issue are maintained parent link info
  3. Check the permission , use permission helper to see whether you have access to there parent issue and epic

Regards,

Tom Zhu

We have Epics and they have the links to the parents in them, but they aren't sitting under the Feature in the Roadmap.

I have checked and the user has edit rights to the roadmap.

Sorry I am not sure what you mean by:

"Check whether epic issue are maintained parent link info", can you advise what mean please?
