Does anyone know how Planned capacity is calculated in Portfolio for Jira?

I have setup a project in Portfolio for Jira. When I look at Reports - Sprints and take a look at Planned capacity Sprint, the amounts do not equal to the actual number of Story points in that sprint. This leads me to believe the number is being calculated elsewhere.

But how?? I read the documentation and it was of no help. Does anyone know how Jira calculates the Planned Capacity?

Hi, Nitin

Is your plan overbooked in Portfolio? Could you please provide me a screenshot of your capacity view?

Gabi

Default Velocity is 47 with 7 people working 40 hour week.capacity.jpg

The first Sprint itself has only 61 Story Points
