Dear all,
in case there is a story with subtask and with postfunction in the workflow in Jira they begin at the same time would that impact the Plans, Programs in Portfolio for Jira somehow? I suppose not really, but would like to get confirmation or in case there is impact info what exactly can be broken, not available. Thank you in advance! Kind regards Radosveta
Yes, they do, because Portfolio does not have issues or workflows itself. It is a layer on top of Jira which looks at (and amends) Jira data. If you change the status of something "in Portfolio", you're not doing it to an issue in Portfolio, you're using the Jira workflow (and hence post-functions).
Hi Nic, thank you! That means the calculations in the plan will look in different way too and maybe will be not so accurate.

No, it means the calculations in the plan are made based on the issue data. If they're inaccurate, then it's because you are putting bad data into the issues.

@Radosveta Delcheva I guess if your post functions are gonna change the resolution of your ticket, it might reflect a change on the the Jira portfolio .
Still i would like to hear from experts for more intricate detailing.
Regards
Haran
