Is there a way to compare two configurations e.g. field configurations, by showing them side by side?

I want to know the differences and the similarities for different configurations. For Fields, screens and workflows

Jira doesn’t really offer side‑by‑side config compare out of the box. For fields/screens you can export to a spreadsheet and diff; for workflows you can export (XML) and diff, but it’s not very readable.

Disclosure: I’m the creator of Config Compare for Jira. it generates a human‑readable diff for configs like field configurations, screens and workflows (no links here, but the name is searchable).
