Can jira card start and end include a time and not just a date?

I am looking at running a deployment that will take place over the course of a day. In order to use Jira for this I need the start and end of cards to have a time and I would also need the road map scale to be time and not date. Would both of these requirements be possible?

Hi @Jake S

You can certainly add Date/Time fields to an Issue.

You'd need to create two Custom Fields - eg. Start Date/Time, and End Date/Time, using the appropriate custom field type.

However, an Advanced Roadmap plan does not scale to be time-based - it operates based on Date Picker fields only. You'd need some other method of visualising a time-based plan.
