Advanced Roadmaps - how to sort base on issue key

Have advanced roadmap loaded with list of issues, as simple as want to sort them in the order of the issue key ( based on which one is created first). however found impossible because it can only sort based on rank, or other parameters. could not figure out a way to sort them in the order of issue key, or in the order of created.

Unfortunately, the best solution I can offer is to sort by rank and then manually drag and drop them into numerical order. I wish I had a better answer, but alas. 

The reason this isn't really possible is that there's multiple hierarchy levels displayed at one time, which makes a simple numerical sort problematic.
