Hi
can I set one issue type in multi hierarchy level in portfolio for jira ?!
for example in our case, issue1 (with issue type A) is parent of issue2 (with issue type B) and then I wan to create issue3 (with issue type A) as child of issue2.
this is what I want :
issue1 (with issue type A) ----> issue2 (with issue type B) ----> issue3 (with issue type A)
Thanks
Hello,
Once you map a Hierarchy level to an issue type, the issue type cannot be linked to another Hierarchy level, its a one to one mapping relationship for a unique identifier.
The Scenario you presented would have "Issue 3" as a child of its own issue type, and create a circular referance and no longer be in a Hierarchal layout.
