Unable to link a story to Intiative

Recently started using JIRA cloud. We chose to create Initiative issue type. I am not able to link Story to Initiative. Story is only allowing to link to an EPIC.

Note that I can 'relate' the story to an initiative.

Are you using Epic link field or Linked issues field for linking issues in story ?

Hi @PADMA KOTHAKOTA, I am successfully able to link a story with Initiative using the 'Linked Issues' field ( I use 'relates to'). My question is: Like the 'Epic link' field, can there be an 'Initiative link' field so that Initiative and Story can have parent-child relationship? Hope this clarifies.
