Time estimation, story points, and parallelism of issues

Hi

When I try the auto-schedule feature, I am not able to get a "logical" plan. My config is as follows:

  • I only use story points for time/complexity estimation in issues
  • I have only one team with one member
  • I have several empty sprints configured

What I would expect:

As I am alone in my team, it seems quite logical that the issues in each sprint are not implemented simultaneously. Instead, it seems there is no duration calculation at the issue level within the sprint: the duration of all issues is the same as the sprint. See the screenshot (story points column vs length of the issue in the sprint)

It seems not intuitive: one developer cannot implement issues simultaneously. Furthermore, a calculation of the duration of each issue would be easy (just a ratio of the story points/length of sprint). Currently the number of story points is not appearing visually on the Portfolio chart, within each sprint.

Did I miss something?

Thanks
