Roadmaps - Assigned to Sprint but showing up in Unassigned

I have a handful of Epics in my Roadmap that show up down in the Unassigned section, but they also show up inside of the sprint that they should be in.  It would seem to me that they should be in one or the other, but not both.  What does the Unassigned mean?  It would think that it is "Unassigned to a Sprint".   I have group by Sprint and most items show up grouped in the sprint, but those unassgined down there are quite a mystery to me.

I finally figured out why they appear in unassigned and thought I would share.  The reason is that I had one story in an epic that was unassigned.  If that is the case the whole epic shows up as unassigned even if one story is unassigned.

I am having this same issue, but I compared one item in the Unassigned bucket with one in another, and neither of them had assignees, so I'm still unsure what is causing my issue.
