So I had a team member switch projects but they are still an active user in JIRA, as the new project also uses JIRA. However since they did work on tickets in my queue they still get notifications on my tickets (even though I've removed them from the JIRA project). This is because they are the reporter/assignee/watcher. Obviously I need to re-assign the tickets but the other reporter is a field I'd like to maintain for recording purposes.
I have no control over the notification schema so the only way I can think to remove her from notification is to do a bulk change and remove her from the tickets where she is the reporter/assignee/watcher. Are there any other options? I didn't see any documentation on removing someone from a project, just deleting them from the system.
Hi Michael,
It's not possible to "remove" a user from the project. You can lock him from accessing the project or give him access, not to add or remove.
For this reason, this bulk change would be the only solution, due to the fact that you can't modify the notification scheme.
