Every time I try and update Jira portfolio, the plugin successfully updates, but then becomes disabled. Re-enabling it causes the following error:

Jira version? Server or cloud? Portfolio version you are trying to install?
If you are doing this with server or data center have you tried to shutdown Jira and clear the plugin cache? Also make sure you only have one version of Portfolio in your plugin install directory.
Please perform the following:
JIRA_HOME/plugins/.bundled-plugins JIRA_HOME/plugins/.osgi-plugins
For What it's worth, I am having the same issue after upgrading Jira Server to 8.5.4 portfolio 3.24.0 and migrating the db collation to utf8mb4_bin. The plugin cache was rebuilt.
