Need to modify the colour scheme to be stronger contrast for visually challenged team members

Edited

I have a resource on my team that is visually impared and requires a stronger contrast than what is offered in the standard colour backgroud.  Is there something like a "dark theme" or "high contrast" that can be applied to the Jira Advanced Roadmap tool?  If there is where can I find it?

Hi Laurie,

Right now, there's no Atlassian-supported tool for increasing the contrast or applying a dark mode.

I know there's a team working on a dark mode Chrome extension as an interim measure until full dark theme support is released. If you follow this ticket you'll be notified of when that gets released - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-63150

Otherwise, you could use a Chrome extension like this one by Google - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/high-contrast/djcfdncoelnlbldjfhinnjlhdjlikmph?hl=en however it may have some drawbacks compared with the forthcoming Atlassian one because the Atlassian one has specific patches to ensure Atlassian products look ok.

Thanks,

Angus
