Can you use Time-based estimation for portfolio capacity planning with Jira Scrum/Agile?

We use Jira Agile with Scrum but estimate with Time. The documentation says time based estimation only works with Kanban but I wanted to check to see if it can be done with agile as well.

Hi @Richard Minerich,

Yes you can. In the configuration of your plan, you decide which estimation method to use for your plan:

As you can see from the screenshot, planning units are Days / Hours or story points.

you can find the setting by clicking the 3 dots [ ... ] next to your plan's name. This will bring you to the configuration pages. Planning mode is under PLANNING / Scheduling
