CTRL+F doesn't find items not visible n the page in Portfolio

Deleted user March 28, 2018

We just upgraded Portfolio from v2.6 to v2.12, post the upgrade we cant seem to use CTRL-F to find items that are not visible on the page. In the past we were always able to find anything on the page regardless of how far you had to scroll down.

If you disable "Enhance my board and backlog" ctrl-F works again.Screenshot 2023-10-04 at 07.54.17.png

Hi Edmund and Mike,

Newer versions of Portfolio render the scope table differently for performance reasons. That is, it only renders the issues that are currently visible. CTRL+F is not working because the issues at the bottom of the table aren't present until you begin scrolling to them. This is required to keep the UI responsive with large numbers of issues.

There were previous complaints about the search being slow, and this is why users started searching with CTRL+F instead, but the slow search should now be fixed.

Can you confirm if the native search is still acting up for you?

Totally agree...with how slow it is to search, CTRL-F is required.  Plus this is useful when trying to find something and how far down the backlog it is.
