Adding boards to existing plan does not create new teams.

Edited

I have created a private plan in Portfolio based on several team boards in Jira.  The initial creation results in a defined team corresponding to the initial set of boards used to define the plan.  If I edit the plan configuration to include boards for additional teams, there is no new team defined to reflect the newly added board.  How can I get the plan to recognize the newly added board as a new team in the plan that will reflect the assigned stories and past velocity information?

(Creating a new plan with all boards/teams identified initially does result in all teams defined as expected)

I am experiencing this as well. I can add boards to existing plans, but the teams are not added as well. Any help would be appreciated.
