Jira Portfolio - Real Roadmap view using Target versus Schedule

It seems that a simple solution for a Roadmap view in Portfolio (Cloud) would be to switch Schedule versus Target with regards to display priority.  That is, when Target is selected, it will show a Roadmap (Bar) View for those items with Target Start and End Dates.  When Schedule is selected, it would then overlay the Targets with the calculated schedule.  That would allow a simple way to display a Roadmap view based on Targets for single or multiple Projects.  This would allow us to then leverage Portfolio versus Big Gantt for Project schedules and roadmaps.  Seems like a simple change that would add far more value than the current Implementation.  The other item required is to add Target Start date to Jira that is linked to Target Start in Portfolio, similar to DueDate and Target Due Date.  That way dates are synced across the tools when building a Roadmap.
