Create Shared Teams

Hello everyone, I am starting using PLANS in Jira Premium and i was wondering if there is a simple way to create shared teams by using Project members (instead of adding individual users). Because i fear i will spend much time to manage that and i am sure i will miss some users (and i see another risk: when they leave the project, i guess they still have access to the Plans?).

Bonus question: To track progress on a shared roadmap (multiple projects, multiple teams, epics in common...), do you have any preference / recommandation between JIRA Align and Advanced Roadmap?

Thanks for your advice / good practices ;)

Hi @Vincent Grajek

for the management of teams (as "shared teams" or a "plan-only team") you are bound to what is offered according to documentation - so I believe your observation are all right.
The members need to be added manually.
I'm sure you have already read through the documentation which tells basically what was said before ... https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-and-add-teams-in-advanced-roadmaps/

For the bonus question - there is a recorded session called "From teams to Portfolio: How to truly unleash the power of agility" which you can watch (free) from here: https://events.atlassian.com/teamtour21_the_series/enterprise

In a short it all depends on the size of your company/enterprise - it might make sense to start with Advanced Roadmaps and then combine/grow with Jira Align if the enterprise grows as well.

Regards,
Daniel
