ScriptRunner as a Service

Back in version 5.6.9 of ScriptRunner for JIRA, we use to be able to run a Groovy script as a service (  All versions after 5.6.9 no longer have this documentation but I don't see anywhere that this feature has been deprecated?  And there is nothing on the Breaking Changes page either (

Can someone let me know if this has been deprecated or if there is another way of doing this?

Thanks for your help and time!

JIRA: 7.13.11

ScriptRunner: 5.6.14
