I'm trying to read information from a specific URL using Script Runner, and I really have no idea how to start.
I've tried using code from this page: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/networking/urls/readingURL.html
in the Console, but when I try logging anything from the readLine() method, it always appears as null. I've never used URLs in Java or Groovy before, so I'd really appreciate any help anyone could give!
Hi @Sam ,
Jira and ScriptRunner groovy works slightly different from pure vanilla java implementation.
Try to check out how these guys accomplish similar problems.
