Hide credentials information from script.

Edited

My script will require to make API call to a confluence server from Jira. Currently, I am using basic auth and my credential is in the script itself.

What is the best way to hide the credentials in the script or if there is a method not to use basic auth to connect to our confluence server?

On ScriptRunner for Jira.

Hello Sammy, you could use Jira Application Links functionality for creating API from Jira to Confluence. In this case you dont need to use basic auth.
