For Blocked Fields when I try to Copy the Text from those fields its populating the edit screen

Hi Team

Recently I have done a task by using the Behaviours 
The task is I blocked the "Summary, Description and Reporter" Fields for Particular user created tickets by using this script even though those feilds are available on edit screen.

def reporter = underlyingIssue.reporter?.displayName

if(reporter.equalsIgnoreCase("USER")){ 
   getFieldById("description").setReadOnly(true) 

}else{ 
   getFieldById("description").setReadOnly(false) 
}

I have user same script for rest of the fields also.

The BUG:
When a user wants to copy+paste content from the Summary or Description fields in the SI project they click+drag to highlight the text. Then Jira opens the Edit screen for every ticket. when you try to drag the cursor to copy the text automatically pop up's the edit screen.

Can you please suggest to do not popups the edit screen. 
I posted the script that i have used can you please suggest any script that not to populate.
