In confluence server, If any one updates the page as being a watcher we get notified.
Suppose if anonymous user do some changes and updates the page by unchecking Notify watchers, the is there a way to get notified o the creator of the page.
This is a strange question, why should the anonymous user have permission to edit the issues.
What's the requirement being achieved by not having in watcher list and still getting notifications or knowing if the page updated?
Anyways, if you need to track this, API events allow tracking the updates made to the page.
Scriptruner add-on makes it easy with a script to track the events and send notifications if needed
Let me know if you are interested in Script
Thanks,

Hello Pramodh,
Thanks for the response, here is the ask from one of the user.. few of us would like to get alerts when someone publishes so that they can review before the user( part of the space) publish the page into space.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Yeah, if its possible to get its reviewed before some one publish to the page and to get notified ( despite not being part of watcher) then i would be interested with your script solution.
let me know how can we proceed to discuss on this
