Set calendar date to tricgger automation

Hi all, new in this coomunity!

I'm looking to trigger automation using a set date, likely the beginning of each quarter (1 ja, 1 april, 1july, 1 october) so it automatically closes or changes fields or add comments and send emails.

I'm unable to identify the trigger for this.

Thank you fot the hint, if I understood Constructing cron expressions | Jira Software Data Center 11.3 | Atlassian Documentation correctly, using this Cron expression would result in a trigger every 9AM of day 1 of january, april, july and october?

So, considering the 0 0 9 1 'JAN,APR,JUL,NOV' ? * would be best then my first attempt above * * 9 1 'JAN,APR,JUL,NOV' * *?

Welcome to the community!

You can easily achieve this using JMWE (Jira Misc Workflow Extensions) with Scheduled Events—no coding required.

Here is how you can set it up:

Go to JMWE Administration > Scheduled Events.
Create a new event and configure the schedule very easily with a few clicks.
Select which issues to run the automation using JQL(Can either filter specific issues or an entire project, be wary of “max issue” settings)
Add the desired actions to your event (e.g., update fields, transition issues, add comments, or send email notifications).

Your final event configuration will look something like this:
