Can I set the Jira Align product field "Organization Structure" to a lower level of the hierarchy?

Question

We would like to leverage the product field within align but do not want the entire list of products to show for every single feature.  What we would like to do is have the products be associated with the specific portfolio, solution, or program within the hierarchy, not just to the top level or entire organization.  I.e. when in a sales feature, only products related to sales are displayed, when in an infrastructure feature, only infra products, etc.

Can the tool be configured to allow this?

I appreciate the general statement that it can be done but none of what is posted above says how to do it or even where to start.  I was hoping for something more concrete.

For the aforementioned steps, JIRA Site Admin privileges are absolutely necessary. Regarding the remaining steps, I recommend utilizing Google Gemini to identify potential suggestions. By thoroughly examining the site, it becomes more feasible to harness the capabilities of these AI tools.

Unfortunately I can find no "relevant" entries in the knowledge base.  It's why I came to the community for feedback.

This is the entirety of the articles when searching simply for "product".  None of which go into any more detail than just "select the organization" from the dropdown.
