Advanced Filter for tickets

My issue here is that I am looking for an advance script for all ticket that have been updated by the user that created the ticket.

I know how to build script for updatedby a specific user but I am looking at a more general approach and have a number count of all ticket that have been updated by the person who created the ticket.

Hi Marco,

If you’re open to using apps, Power Scripts is a great fit here. You can create a custom JQL function that runs a SIL script behind the scenes, giving you the flexibility of Jira's search interface while executing a bit more advanced logic.

Even better: if you'd like to make this functionality available for other users (especially non-admins), you can use a SIL Gadget on a dashboard. This setup can let you specify the user (or a sample ticket where the reporter is who you're interested in), and then display a list of all relevant tickets when you hit a button. It’s a clean way to let users run scripts without needing backend access, and it’s super configurable.

Of course, if you're just testing things out or working solo, running the SIL script directly from the SIL Manager might be the simplest option- it gives you immediate output in the console.

And if you’re looking to display the results inside another Jira ticket, that’s possible, too! You can do it using a Scripted Custom Field or even with the newer Forms and Wizards feature.
