If you apply each child value of Wi-Fi connection and Wi-Fi login to automation and register a Slack message, If you create a Wi-Fi connection issue, whether the Wi-Fi field value takes precedence, not only a Wi-Fi connection-related message but also a Wi-Fi login message is sent.

What customfield type are you using? I checked functionality of standard cascade select field, and it is possible, to get child value with this type of smart value.
Made a small example for testing, and it works:
