Automated Field Value during transition of status

Question

Created a field. It is nice to have automation filling in this field by assigning the value to this field based on the person who transitioned it out of Design Statuses.

Here is the automation I made, tested this and checked the audit log; the status was successful, but the "SGXX Designer" field did not populated the with the user who transitioned the status.

Something like this:

* Create a automation rule and set the scope (which projects it should apply to).
* Choose the Issue Transitioned trigger and set the From status to "Design Status" value(s) in your workflow.
* Update the field(s) required using Edit issue fields with a "Smart Value". Depending what you want maybe {{initiator.displayName}} which would give you the name of the person who transitioned the issue.

If you have AI on your instance - it can create a basic automation rule for you.
