Quick filters not overwriting static board filter

Hi, I am trying to set a multi-sort in my backlog to automatically sort by parent. Our board filter is set to [project = "XX" Order By rank ASC]. The quick sort filter I'm trying to implement has [Order By parent ASC, priority DESC, rank ASC]. However, when I click it, it looks like nothing happens. I've also just tried [Order By parent ASC] and nothing changes in the backlog.

I am wondering if maybe I need to remove the [Order By rank ASC] from the original filter for the board as a whole - maybe that is overwriting my quick filter?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

You cannot use Quick Filters to change the sort order of issues within a board. You can only use it to reduce the issues displayed to a subset.
