Cloning an instance

Question

Does anyone know if it is possible to clone an instance of our Jira and confluence cloud? We would like to split from another team, and want to copy over all our data to a new cloud, but think it would be better if it's possible to clone our current instance with all the existing data.

If you're looking to clone your Jira Cloud instances, our app Deep Clone for Jira can be a great help. Deep Clone allows you to easily clone entire projects or select issues with all associated data such as comments, attachments, and custom field values.

Additionally, it supports cross-instance cloning, with its Instance Clone feature, which could be particularly useful for your scenario where you want to separate from another team.

If you're seeking for an easy way to clone issues from one Jira instance to another, I suggest trying our app Elements Copy & Sync that allows you to clone Jira issues with all their content (summary, description, custom fields, comments, attachments, etc) and keep them in sync.

Atlassian provides a native feature for copying content from one cloud product site to another.
