Timeline with Tasks in Software

Martin Hirsch

We are using Jira Software and i want to use the timeline for tasks without an Epic also, Ist this possible or is there another tool for showing the tasks in chronological order?

Hi ,

Yes, you can try one of these alternatives:

• Jira premium license: This allows you to access the same Timeline you have now, but more advanced and with more features, including being able to see the chronography of tasks without needing to have epics. You can check more information here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/guides/advanced-roadmaps/overview#how-do-i-add-my-teams-to-a-plan
• BigGantt (BigPicture): BigGantt (which is a reduced version of BigPicture) is a Jira plugin that allows you to see a timeline of your projects without any limitation. It is also very powerful since it aggregates data in the Gantt view, so you can see the progress of the project in a very clear and intuitive way. You can see more information here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213016/biggantt-gantt-chart-for-jira?tab=overview&hosting=cloud

I hope this is of help to you, best regards!
