An existing queue recently started complaining that "Your project and reporter selection is invalid"

An existing JIRA queue recently started complaining about a search term with the problem being that "Your project and reporter selection is invalid". The reporter being the person who submitted a ticket.

As far as we know we did not change anything to cause this. What is going on?

Is organizationMembers an user, or are you trying to see issues that members of a specific organization? If the latter then you have to use JQL and the organizationMembers() function, something like this:

reporter in organizationMembers("Atlassian")

Thanks for your help! The non-JQL query has been used by colleagues of mine for long time. The fact that the 'red' fields suddenly started showing up has been causing concern that the queue is no longer showing the right data.

Looking at the JQL equivalent of the query I see this:

It does seem the query IS showing the right set of data. I am trying to assure my colleagues of this.

Is there anything I could change in the JQL to make the fields in the BASIC query not appear in red?

Thanks for helping me! The "ClearBlade Service Desk" project IS active. We are a small company where most of the employees ARE active users of that project. However we have a LARGE and growing group of customers that can all report issues. As far as I know, none of our CUSTOMERS have ever been active users of the "ClearBlade Service Desk" project, but they have always been able to report issues.

The problem is my colleagues suddenly started seeing these red fields, and they are now concerned that the queues may not be showing the right data. After some investigation I believe the queries ARE correct and the queues ARE showing the right data. I am now trying to convince my colleagues of this.

Is there anything I can do to make the fields no longer appear in red? Is there anything that changed recently to cause this?

@Akash Sharma You might update the filter query to be more acurate.

It is showing up because you are using the basic view, it cannot use the organizationMembers() function, and that is why you see the error. You have to use the JQL view in order to use that function.

I had the wrong understanding that the JQL view and the BASIC view were just two ways of viewing the same query. It seems they are actually two different queries.
