Dashboard Track Time in a project by label

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a gadget configuration that can view time spent in statuses filtered by label? I am trying to see how much time a team is working on tickets specifically labelled either reactive or proactive work

Any help would be much appreciated.

You might consider using time-tracking apps that, in most cases, have a customizable report of tracked time on issues.

I can recommend our Clockwork Automated Time Tracking & Timesheets Pro, or Free app which offers you the possibility to review timesheets and create reports that can be configured in various ways using break-down and filtering options, including filtering by labels.

Please find below the sample of how the example of the timesheet looks like:

We have recently developed a Team feature that allows you to create Teams, which can be used for timesheet filters and breakdowns. When a team is selected for a timesheet/report, all users in the team will be included in the report even if they do not have any worklogs for the selected timeframe.

In order to track the time spent on tickets specifically labelled either reactive or proactive work on each status I suggest you use a marketplace app. Timepiece - Time in Status for Jira ,the oldest and leading "Time in Status" app in Atlassian Marketplace, which is developed by my team at OBSS, has a report type that will meet your need.

Timepiece mainly allows you to see how much time each issue spent on each status or each assignee.

Status Duration report, showing how much time each issue has spent in each status. If you choose Custom JQL as your filter option and put the labels you want in your JQL, you will get a Status Duration report only for those issues.

Please see the screenshot above that I've prepared for your case.

You can do it with Time in Status. Just simply:

Install Time in Status
Go to Dashboard and choose Time in Status
Configure Time in Status Dashboard by JQL labels = [name of labels]

You can try Status Time Reports app developed by our team. It mainly provides reports and gadgets based on how much time passed in each status.

Here is the online demo link, you can see it in action and try without installing the app. For your case, you can have a look at Time in Status for Each Issue report. You can filter the issues listed by following the steps below:

Switch to JQL
Type your JQL including your labels

App Features:

This app has a dynamic status grouping feature so that you can generate various valuable reports as time in status, time in assignee, status entry dates and status counts, cycle time and lead time, resolution time, average/sum reports by any field(e.g. average in progress time by project, average cycle time by issue creation month).

You can search issues by Project, Issue Type, Status, Assignee, Issue Creation/Resolution Date(and any other Date field) and JQL Query.
Status durations are calculated according to the working calendar you define. Once you enter your working calendar into the app, it takes your working schedule into account too. That is, "In Progress" time of an issue opened on Friday at 5 PM and closed on Monday at 9 AM, will be a few hours rather than 3 days.
You can set different duration formats.
You can export reports in CSV file format and open them in MS Excel.
You can also add this app as a gadget to your Jira dashboards and reach “Status Time” from Issue Detail page.
You can enable/disable access to Status Time reports&gadgets and Issue Detail page per project, users, groups or project role.
