Timeline default filter - Timeline limit

Dear team,

How can I change the default filter for Timeline/Board on a Software project, team-managed?

We have reached a limit of 500 epics on the Timeline. According to the HELP, we should change the board Filter, but this board filter is not applied to the timeline.

We have created a custom filter but did not find a way how to configure this newly created filter as a default one.

Once we reach a limit, the timeline does not display a filter option, just "error" message about the limit. So the timeline is not usable at all, at the end.

No the LIMIT issue I can solve as this is a coded setting by Atlassian.

I also don't see any open feature request on the public issue tracker for this, you can raise an issue there.

Except changing the Team-managed to Company-managed, do you know if there is any other option how to solve the issue with LIMIT of Epics on the timeline?

Welcome to the community.

This changing of the board filter is only an option on Company Managed projects.

The option is not there for you, that's based on my assumption and your tag on "team-managed-projects".
