How to enable adding comments on a closed issue

Question

Hi,

as admin, I would like to enable any assignee, to add an internal comment on a closed issue.

I managed to find out that it would be throught Workflow and then properties in the field "Clos". However I do not how set up the property.

Please note that the reporter should not be able to add a comment once the issue is closed.

You need to replace the Value with whatever ID that Role has in your system.

Go into Settings (Jira Administration) > System > Security >Project roles and click "Edit" on the Service Desk Team Role. Check the URL of your browser, as it will contain the roles ID.

Hi @Alexandra BRIOUDE ,

* Go to your project settings --> Workflow.
* Click Edit against the required workflow where you need to add the restrictions.
* Open the workflow in Diagram mode and click on Status (example: Close)
* In side window opened, click Properties

* In the new window opened, add 2 properties* jira.permission.comment.denied --> this will block add comment for all users
* jira.permission.comment.assignee --> This will allow only Assignee to add comment
Don't add any values to "Property value"
Your property will look as below

* After properties are added, click on "Workflow steps" link in the same window and click publish workflow in next window.

thanks for your quick answer.

I looked at the thread, and tried with :

key: jira.permission.comment.projectrole.Service Desk Team

Value: 10118

It does not work. Then I tried with "sam-team" (group of the agents of my team) instead of Service Desk Team, but still no success.

Do I have to mention something after 10118 ?
