How to add kanban board to existing scrum project

Hello,

I have a scrum project. However, currently, we are not running sprints. I want to add a Kanban board to my project for now and move the current sprint tasks to kanban board. I don't want to convert it to Kanban because we may start running sprints in the future and need a scrum board. Please explain the steps. Thank you.

In looking at your image I am thinking that you are on a team managed project. You can verify this by looking at the lower left corner. Assuming that is true then you simply need to go into project settings and then features and disable sprints. Should you ever want to return to scrum then you can simply reverse that. If you prefer to have both boards available then you can follow my original steps below with one additional step and one note...

• NOTE: When creating the Kanban board set the location to be your profile as you will not be able to select your TMP project.
• step 5 - add a shortcut to your kanban board from the sidebar of your project

Hi @Özge Özgenç ,

1. I would first recommend that you inspect the current board filter. If it is simply something like project = ABC, no worries however, if it’s more complex, then I would copy it and paste it somewhere for later use.
2. Click into the search box in the main menu and at the bottom select Boards
3. click on create board
4. Follow the prompts to create the Kanban board and you can either use from project if filter was simple or create and save the complex filter and use to create Kanban.
