Question about the updated slash commands as noted here https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management-articles/Upcoming-changes-to-Atlassian-Assist-in-Slack/ba-p/2475359
Should the /assist or /support commands enable the requestor in a shared Slack Connect channel to raise requests (in our case, pop up a form)? That's what I understood should happen based on the info above, but some of our requestors (external customers) mentioned that they get an error when using the slash commands.
What is the expected behavior when requestors use /assist or /support?
/support is not a valid command. In Slack, all messages that start with the "/" character are interpreted as commands.
If you are trying to send a message and not run a command, try preceding the "/" with an empty space.
