Automation Link Issues (level story) with other issue different board

Hi,

is it possible to create automation to link issue from different board. But, only latest Story Type.

here is the explanation :

i have 7 Boards.. i can link the issue with automation for 3 boards (User Story, Application Design, Testing Scenario). because issues on that board Have relations.

Application Design Board have 3 Subtasks, when the subtasks is DONE. it will re-create new issue on Development Board (Story Level). But, it only have relation with Application Design.

how to link New Issue on Development Board to User Story ? is it possible ?

Hi @adithya 

I am assuming that all of the boards you are asking about are in one Jira project.  If not, please update your question to reflect this.

 

Jira boards display issues based on a saved filter.

And so issues do not get "linked" to different boards: if they meet the criteria of the filter for a board they will display.  (For Scrum boards, there is the additional criteria that issues are in an active sprint.)

From what you describe, if you can identify the issue, a rule can link another issue to it.
