How can I send an automated email to all watchers of tickets included in a release

Hey there,

I have the following Use-Case "Inform all watchers of tickets in a release via email, that these tickets have been release".

So generally speaking: I am currently trying to set up an automation sending an email if a release was published to all watchers of a ticket being included in the release version. In order to have all tickets listed in the email, I am using “Lookup Issue”, which works absolutely fine. But I am stuck finding a solution of targeting ALL the email recipients.

I am currently trying something like

{{lookupIssues.issue.watchers.emailAddress}}

 

 

 

Does anyone have an idea of how I could solve this?

You will have to loop over each issue that matches the version. I believe you can do it without the lookup if there is no other condition.

It will look roughly like this. Please note that I have not tested it, but hopefully it will give you an idea on how to move forward. Key is that you need to loop over each issue in the release.
