I have a form that automatically creates an issue in JSM. i would like to automate the form filling process and i have no idea how to go about it or if it is possible.i am to fetch new records from a DB and use it to fill a form which creates a jira ticket with the form attached.

You will find examples i severals languages on how you can use APIs in a program to create issues in Jira
