Unable to make a transition on Service desk project

Hi Team,

I created a new project in Jira with project type as "service management". Even though the project is using one of the existing workflows, I don't seem to have the required permissions to transition issues. Can anyone please help with me how to troubleshoot this issue?

Hi @Sujitha.Krishnan

Could you confirm you have a service desk agent license?

If yes, are you mapped as an agent within the new project?

Can you validate that there are no conditions or validators in the workflow that limit transition to specific people?

Can you also check the permission scheme and ensure it allows you transition issues within this project?

Hi @Sujitha.Krishnan - You should check with your project admin if you have the required agent permission to transition the issue or not ?
