Mirror a section of a table inside another table

Hello everyone,

I am reaching out to see if you can help with this.

I have Page 1 in confluence that contains a table. I have Page 2 where I would like said table to be mirrored, but with an additional column to add additional information on Page 2.

Is there a way to mirror and merge the two tables with macros? I've been running tests with Table excerpt and Table excerpt include unsuccesfully. I managed to include the table from Page 1 in the table from Page 2, but all the table inside one cell only.

Hi @Ruben Lado ,

As usual, you need to have an ID column in both of your tables (in the reused one coming from the Table Excerpt Include macro and your second table with extra columns). It should be smth unique (keys, IDs, usernames, project names, etc.).

Then you use the Table Transformer macro and its standard Look up preset.

Hi Frederik,

Thanks for the suggestion! I think this might be the macro I'm looking for. I might need to learn some SQL to customize it, because it's not merging it as I want though.

There used to be a table transform macro to do this but not sure if it's availlable in the cloud ?
