Automation - How to show only Rules that worked on ticket

Hi,

We have many Automation Rules, using different conditions and triggers.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to show on Ticket, in the Automation section, only the Rules that actually worked on the ticket.

Right now it seems to just show last 8-10 Rule Executions, and in most cases the ones that worked will not show since there are many others that did not.

Hope someone can help.

As @Ashley Hudson has said, it is not possible to filter the rule executions that are displayed in the issue view. We are currently working on updates to the user experience around audit logs and Automation rule data, this seems like a great suggestion for an improvement we can make here. So in terms of checking if an automation rule have failed or ran on that ticket, the generic way is to review the automation rule in mind in the project settings (or global configuration) and review the audit log within the automation rule. Then once in there, you'll be able to review the rule, what status it had and the "show more" option gives you the ability to see how and why that automation failed! I hope this resolves your issue!

I know how to check in the Rule Log.

What I was referring to is the details in the ticket itself, where you see Automation Executions.

For example, here is an image showing the details of Rule Executions for a ticket. You can see all shown did not work, but there were other Automations that did. But these I do not see.

So I am looking for a way to see only the Rules that worked on the ticket.

Ah okay my mistake! As far as I'm aware, the ability to check if an automation rule has failed directly on the ticket level should appear? Can I ask, is this a new gen project / is this automation running through multiple projects? Thanks

No worries

It's not an issue with a specific Automation, and not for Failed.

I want to see any and all Automations and only those that were Successful for the ticket.

I mean, in most cases you will have a lot more Automations that failed (match Trigger but did not meet conditions) than Successful, and these sometimes will show first.

yes, please add this feature to limit the automation window in the card to only those that fired, otherwise useless for us who use more than 8-10 automations.

Is there a ticket raised for this feature? I can only add to the importance of having this feature, especially if you have a lot of automations within a project (more than 10).
