Before deleting a workflow, please ensure that it is not associated with a workflow scheme or project. If that is the case, remove the workflow from the scheme first.
The steps to delete the workflow are:
NOTE: Jira Administrators permissions are required for deleting the workflow

@Gaurav Thank you very much for your answer, the issue is that they are copies made in flow nesting and I can't see where to remove these copies (attached image).
Kindly clarify more on 'copies made in flow nesting'.
Also, as you are a site admin, can you find these workflows from the admin panel. The steps are the same as mentioned previously.

Thanks! @Gaurav When you make a modification to the flow, the system gives you the option to save a copy, nested on the previous one. It is these copies that I want to delete
