Rally to Jira Data Center Migration

Gargi Panchal

Hello Team ,

I need assistance for Rally to Jira data center Migration.

Is it feasible?

If yes, then what will be the steps and how to plan/ best practices for the migration.

Thanks

Hi Gargi,

Thanks for you using the Atlassian Community!

As I understand your question, you are looking to migrate issues from Rally to Jira Data Center. If I am understanding your question correctly, this is absolutely feasible and there are a few options available for you to do this as outlined in the Importing data from Rally knowledge base article.

There is more detail in the article, but to summarize, you can accomplish this via:

• Exporting from Rally using CSV and import that CSV into Jira.
• There are also third party plugins via the Atlassian Marketplace that can assist with accomplishing this (there are a few listed within the linked article above)
• Potentially set up a service engagement with a local Atlassian expert to assist in performing this migration.

Please let me know if I have misunderstood your request or if you have any additional questions related to this and I would be happy to discuss further.

Best,

Andy
