Does Confluence Create personal spaces on its own?

Michael Mueller_64hg0q

Hi , we are on confluence cloud and the last days confluence creates personal spaces on its own , filled with example pages - and you see it in the activity screen.

What the hell?!

Can I prevent this somehow?

The spaces are not restricted  - so everybody could see the "example user space " of anybody else.
This really scares my users over here...

best regards, Michael.

Hi Michael,

You are not alone. Have a look at this question (and answer). Hopefully you'll be able to use the workaround. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-to-prevent-the-creation-of-personal-spaces-automatically-for/qaq-p/1608187
