Where to find good documentation on configuring permissions for AOD.

Question

I'm setting up a test Atlassian OnDemand server for the first time and am having trouble finding good documentaiton on roles, groups, and configuring permissions. What I have found has been very fragmented and doesn't really address managing the combination of Jira "projects" and Confluence "spaces" very well.

The main confusion is how to restrict client access to their own projects/spaces so that they can't see another client's projects/spaces.

Can anyone point me to the right place or provide some tips?
