How to display all child issues of an epic using the JIRA filter in confluence

Question

I am trying to use the JIRA filter macro in confluence to create a list of all the child issues of a specific epic.

If I just use key = [epicname] I only see the epic itself, and none of the child issues.

I am sure this is really simple but I can't find anything in the documentation.

Using the Jira Issue/Filter Macro, you can use JQL, something like this:

parentEpic = "ISSUE_KEY"

Where ISSUE_KEY is the key of the Epic.

Three is no simple soluition. Maybe using tjhe query language, but that is work around, and difficult to learn for non programmers.
