Rejected email requests due to 'bulk mail'

Question

A lot of email requests are rejected according to the log and the reason given is 'Bulk mail'.

We need to receive every single email that comers to that address - how we can ensure that Jira does not take it upon themselves to auto-reject some of them?

I hope the issue in your system is escalated and treated with priority very soon because it is critical that we ensure that all emails can reach us in our business - as with any business.

This issue happens when emails are auto-forward or redirected and it generates the auto-submitted: auto-generated header and it causes Jira to reject those emails.

As an admin I want the ability to configure the *Bulk Settings* used by the Service Desk mail handler

It's possible to add domains to the allowlist, but it's not possible to disable the bulk filter, so emails with the header Auto-Submitted may still be rejected.

Please, go to Project settings > Email requests (company-managed project) or Project settings > Channels > Emails (team-managed project). On the top right, click on … > Manage allowlist.
